Help needed with Pinewood Derby Tuesday, Jan 20 2009

We are still in need of volunteers to help with the Pinewood Derby on Saturday, January 31. Between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. help is needed with set-up. Jobs during the derby include assisting with judging, getting scouts checked in before each race, gathering boys for their turns, placing cars on the track, and much more! We will also need help afterward to clean up the room and take down the track.

Also, it’s a fun exciting time and all the boys seem to get anxious for their turn (which can be pretty long). So to help ease the wait time we encourage parents to bring a deck of cards, marbles, checkers etc.

If you are able to help, please contact Shane Hughes
