Now is a great time to join Cub Scouting! Pack 632 is actively recruiting boys in 1st through 4th grades. We are sponsored by the Wilson Hill PTO and hold most of our meetings at Wilson Hill Elementary School in Worthington.
We will have a table at the Wilson Hill Back to School Party on Friday, Sept 12 so please stop by. Or contact one of the leaders.
Here’s an overview of the general program

5. Faith 11. Respect
6. Health and fitness 12. Responsibility
How is a Pack organized? The Pack is divided into units of boys of the same age group, called Dens. Each Den is lead by a trained adult volunteer and one or more assistants.
- 1st Graders join as Tiger Cubs. Tigers participate with a parent (or other adult family member) and follow the theme “Search, Discover and Share”
- 2nd Graders become Wolves. They work on projects that spark interest in a range of hobbies.
- 3rd Graders are Bears. During the Bear year, boys continue to improve their skills with more challenging requirements.
- 4th and 5th graders are Webelos. They are on the trail to becoming Boy Scouts. They explore hobbies, the outdoors and careers ranging from science to sports.
How often do Cub Scouts meet? Each Den meets one to two times a month (once a month during the summer). Den meetings are held at Wilson Hill. In addition, the Pack meets as a whole once a month.
How do parents participate? Parental participation is essential to successful Scouting! Parents participate by accompanying their son to Cub meetings and by working with him on Cub projects and advancement requirements. A parent can also participate by serving as a Cub leader.
How much does it cost to join Cub Scouting? The Pack’s annual registration fee is paid in September. The fee for 2008-09 is $40. This fee covers the boy’s dues and operating costs at the Pack, District and Council level as well as a subscription to Boys Life magazine. The fee does not cover the cost of the boy’s uniform.
